Welcome to the Mountain Kingdoms blog, a place for us to share news, travel tips and holiday inspiration with you. Our clients are an adventurous bunch, so as well as posts written by our Travel Experts in the office and out on the road, we love to share your stories too.
Mountain Kingdoms is one of the UK’s leading walking and trekking specialists has 35 years of experience developing exciting new holidays to destinations around the world.
We now offer five distinct types of holiday to over 30 destinations, totalling over 150 different holidays.
Walking & trekking holidays
Our small group walking and trekking holidays offer something for all ages, interests and abilities. They range from those mixing gentle walks and sightseeing through to long distance multi-day treks into very remote regions. The chances are if it's possible to walk there - we do!
Trekking Peaks
For those that wish to go higher, our trekking peaks are the ideal challenge. Whether it’s Nepal, Peru, India, the Alps or Morocco, we offer the best acclimatisation, top quality equipment and highly experienced leaders. In fact, everything you need reach that elusive summit.
Tours
Our adventurous tours are not 'tourist trap' experiences. We visit the key sights but we also take you to lesser-known places to get you under the skin of the exciting, far-flung countries in which we are specialists. Our small group sizes mean we are able to access areas and enjoy experiences that large tour groups miss out on. Transport may include trains, boats and even elephant-back safari.
Tailor Made holidays
With our well-travelled experts and years of experience, we can organise Tailor Made holidays for individuals, couples, groups or charities.
