Once in a lifetime trip
Once in a lifetime trip. Excellent service received from booking and the 2 year delay due to lockdown. Kept regularly informed with options. The trek company in Nepal were outstanding. Very attentive and helpful. From Khim in Kathmandu to Mingma our guide who was excellent and provided a full cultural experience. Would highly recommend Mountain Kingdoms to anyone thinking of a trek.
Great trek for seeing local life
Scenery was exceptional and greater opportunity to see how local people lived than other treks in Nepal. Absence of roads and cars was an absolute bonus!
Once in a lifetime trip
I booked this trip on the expectation that it would be a once in a lifetime trip, and so it turned out. I couldn’t fault anything. The accommodation, guides and food were fantastic and coupled with the magnificent scenery this was indeed a trip that was unforgettable and will never be beaten.

Fantastic company. Well organised and a great guide. Didn’t need to worry about a thing except my walking gear and keeping up my energy!

We finally made it.......A very enjoyable trek. Very well organised by the Mountain Kingdoms team especially with a 2 year delay due to the Covid situation and not to mention the constantly changing rules! Well done MK
Exhilarating and exciting
The scenery was wonderful and meeting local people a real joy. We could describe our experience as both exhilarating and exciting, not to mention exhausting at times but were always refreshed by excellent hospitality at the various lodges. Thanks due to all concerned.
Wonderful trek
Wonderful trek. Amazing views. Acclimatisation days were well spaced out and timed to make sure we all made it to EBC. The luxury lodges were comfortable, clean and welcoming with plenty of good Nepalese food. We had an excellent guide in Dambe, - friendly, genuinely keen that we saw everything, knowledgeable, very good English, nothing was too much trouble. Couldn't have been a better trek.
Gentle Walking in Costa Rica
A truly lovely holiday that certainly met our expectations. The activities are well managed, but some of the walking may not be considered gentle by some.
A great trip!
This trip had 2 years in the planning due to Covid delays, any concerns and questions were always handled promptly by Harry Gray at Mountain Kingdom, the flights and transfers were all arranged and the company organising the trek up Killi took care of all our requirements. The trek itself was a fabulous experience, the guides , cook and porters were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. We had medical checks morning and evening. Summit day was a hard but unforgettable experience. A great trip.
Great experience and huge sense of achievement!
I trekked the Lemosho Route up Mount Kilimanjaro on February 2022. It was a great experience. Mountain Kingdoms did an excellent job sorting out the arrangements, which had to be changed several times because of the Covid pandemic. On the ground in in Tanzania everything worked excellently well and the trek team did an outstanding job of looking after us, both in terms of taking very good care to get us properly acclimatised and just generally in the friendly, good-humoured way they looked after us. The trek is not for the faint-hearted and deserves its 'strenuous' rating, but with good preparation and taking account of the first-class advice from the guides we made it to the top, which gave a real sense of achievement and is something I shall remember for a long time - a high point in every sense!
