Good accommodation

Felt personal, friendly, both with MK and team in Pokhara. You really do get the best accommodation available, by the leader sending a runner - well done. Little touches such as the gingham bedsheet, the amazing warm fleecy sleeping bag liner (I never got cold), and the snacks carried throughout the trek.

Great value for money

Inclusive nature of holiday on trek with no need to worry about paying bills or having change. Attention to detail (bucket of water, towel and soap for handwashing which I've only seen on camping treks before). Supplementary fresh foods and map also included. Not having to fit sleeping bag into kitbag. Good interesting choice of route.

Well-planned itinerary

The thing I appreciated in you offering this trek is that you had the intention to do the complete trek and add quite a lot of extra days for bad weather etc. The other groups doing the trek were a lot more stressed to get things done.

Mountain Kingdoms' comment: Please note - this review was given on return from our Complete Lunana Snowman Trek itinerary. From 2018 we take a spectacular new route out of Lunana.

Seamless organisation

All organisational aspects were seamless and there seemed to be a real empathetic understanding of the cultures we visited. Mountain Kingdoms guides know their stuff and are dependable leaders.

Lovely accommodation

The choice of local guide and driver added immensely to the overall holiday experience. In particular their ability to immerse us in local culture was outstanding. We liked the choice of hotels, particularly the more rustic ones, which reflected Bhutanese lifestyle and culture. In Kathmandu, Dwarika's was superb particularly the relaxing ambience and wonderful architecture.

Well planned

An outstandingly well planned tour, clearly based on your detailed experience and excellent local agents in each country.

Truly unique experience

Having done a number of treks in this part of the world, this was a truly unique experience which has left indelible memories of vast and untamed landscapes, with extraordinary rock formations such as I have never seen before. We were superbly looked after by our crew who, after each day's hard trek, fed us like kings and anticipated our every need - who could want for more?

Most enjoyable trek

The trek was, by far, the most memorable and most enjoyable trek that I have ever done. Whilst the trek was tough and challenging (and at times not for the faint hearted), the scenery was sensational, the trek crew were exceptionally good and the food excellent. It is refreshing that you have discovered a new, remote, trekking route which, in my opinion, must rank as one of the world's best 'new classic', trekking routes.

Caring staff (former Stok Kangri 6,153m / 20,187ft & Markha Valley itinerary)

We really enjoyed the small group of like minded people as well as the caring, professional staff with good in-country support.

Excellent trek crew

Remote location, small group size, excellent trek crew and leader.
