The trekking and views of the Himalayas were great. Food excellent quality throughout. Superb customer service and support from local service companies. Walking with the elephants at Chitwan was very special.
This was a great trip. Would love to have spent longer in the area. Semir was a really good guide with great knowledge of the area, nature and history. He was very patient and had a good sense of humour. We were a small group which was an advantage in this area where tourism is still growing as this gave us the chance to meet other trekkers in the small communal dining rooms along the way. The accommodation was varied, but overall the quality and comfort was better than we expected.
Everything went exactly according to plan from the moment of our arrival to our departure. We couldn't have wished for better accommodation in Marrakech and Essaouira. The guide (Hussein) and cook (Hassan) were great and the trekking was just right for us (easy but not too short). The camping was comfortable, trip companions friendly and stimulating, and the scenery along the coastline and the beaches was stunning. Perfect weather too! The farewell meal was the cherry on the cake. Memorable.
A very varied and enjoyable trip with excellent local staff and hotels. A good mix including all the main tourist sights - avoiding the worst of the crowds - local markets and areas that are off the beaten track but well worth visiting. However, the jungle trek from Chi Pat has changed significantly now that a road has been built. (Thank you for your very helpful feedback and we will be changing the Chi Pat jungle walk for future departures - the MK team).
We had an amazing holiday with a superb guide and amazing scenery . The food was very good and the accommodation comfortable. An excellent trip.
This was a great trip. A combination of excellent sometimes strenuous day walks, memorable journeys and comfortable accommodation.
We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Bhutan and Nepal. Bhutan, particularly, was an astonishing cultural experience. The only minus was the food in Bhutan, which is frankly poor. Otherwise pretty much everything met or exceeded our expectations and the organisation was impeccable.
We waited two years (due to covid!) for this trip to happen. Was it worth the wait? Definitely! Bhutan is a wonderful, beautiful experience, unlike anywhere else in the world I have been. The trip was well organised even given the last minute changes to the itinerary, the guide was very professional as was our driver but most of all, the Bhutanese people were so friendly and welcoming. Being offered tea with the locals on the Tiger's Nest trek was perhaps the highlight of the trip!
This was a diverse and well paced adventure. Plenty of amazing flora and fauna. The travelling across the country did not feel onerous and was well worth it to allow us the chance to experience a range of scenery and different climatic conditions. Our guide, Tito, was excellent company and very knowledgeable, ably supported by our driver Leo. Accommodation was equally diverse, but always of a good standard. Fantastic!
The holiday was an excellent way to see the wildlife and scenic highlights of Costa Rica. It is a beautiful destination and even though it is now attracting increasing numbers of tourists, it is still possible to visit some less travelled to areas. This was our first experience of small group travel having always travelled independently in the past but selected this group tour as it was our fist visit to Latin America. Overall this was a thoroughly enjoyable holiday.
