This is a wonderful trip, with many opportunities to spot and photograph a variety of flora and fauna, and beautiful walks amongst lush vegetation. The guide was very interesting, organised and flexible, as well as being a great advocate for the Pura Vida Costa Rican outlook on life. Be prepared for wet and humid weather as this is what creates the environment for the wide variety of birds, animals, trees and flowers.
Great trek from start to finish. Well looked after by engaging and hardworking guides and porters. Blessed with great weather, always sunny and a bit chilly at night. Achieved our goals and had great fun on the way.
A good challenge with great scenery.
The logistics and organisation from start to finish were second to none, and at no point were we left wondering what was going to happen. People met us, always there on time or early, and transport was excellent. Everyone was friendly and helpful and gave the impression that they were genuinely trying to make our trip a memorable experience. The hotel in Kathmandu was an oasis and the food superb. Our guide, Mani, and his team were equally friendly and helpful.
We thoroughly enjoyed our recent Annapurna Sanctuary trip. All the travel arrangements ran smoothly. Our guide was excellent, and knowledgeable about birdlife which was an added bonus. We loved the changing landscapes, from chestnut forest to snowy peaks, and enjoyed passing through the villages, with water buffalo grazing and crops spread out to dry, and meeting other trekkers in the teahouses.
Loved the trek
Possibly the best trip of my life so far. Everything was very well organised, Nepal is a staggeringly beautiful country and the people are wonderful. Our trek guide Bhudda was the perfect guide and it was a fantastic holiday. Really exceeded my expectations and I will absolutely book with Mountain Kingdoms again.
This was an amazing two week trek seeing many different mountain ranges and differing environments. We saw many different types of wildlife including monkeys, herds of Yak and Mountain goats. The weather was cool but wonderful blue skies every day. We had a fantastic local team looking after us, supported by the Mountain Kingdom team.
The mountain views on this trek were outstanding. The days to the viewpoints were long, but well worth the effort. The route taken by the trek allowed for good acclimatisation, and an interesting variety of landscapes as you progress towards the high mountains. (Private Departure)
The country, place and people were all charming. Patagonia was breathtakingly beautiful. The trek was amazing as were our two guides.
