I loved the remoteness of this trip; it felt like a true wilderness experience, and following in a snow leopard's snowy footsteps up to the Ghami La pass was exceptionally memorable.
I loved staying in traditional guesthouses along the way, their home grown food was delicious.
Our guide knew everyone in the Markha Valley and was extremely knowledgeable about the culture, flora and fauna.
Our guide was outstanding - the best we have had - his knowledge of the culture and wildlife was unrivalled.
Montenegro deserves to be discovered by some more MK travellers it's such a lovely place!! And the beer's good!
This state has it all, from the highest and lowest points in Continental USA through to some of the lushest and driest places on the planet.
I love the south west of America, it's hard to comprehend the sheer scale of this area - it has incredible views and vast open skies that seem to go on forever.
It is hard to pick a single highlight for this trip as there are so many, but I would have to say that riding along the Northern rim of the Grand Canyon with not another soul in sight was an incredible experience that I'll never forget.
A first class trip led by an excellent local guide... we had an audience with the King of Lo, visited three schools and had lots of interaction with the people of Lo Manthang. Superb scenery together with unique people making a fantastic experience.
I had a lovely time... Best travel company I have ever used...Great customer service, good itinerary, well chosen hotels, good leader and driver. Felt like things had really been thought through. Maximum group number of 12 is good too - we had 9 on our trip and it was a good number. I would highly recommend Mountain Kingdoms - I've travelled with a number of adventure tour operators and you are by far the best on a number of counts - customer service, quality of trip, value for money etc.
