Bhutan and Druk path trek was fantastic. Bhutan is an incredible country and so lucky to have visited/experienced it before it changes. Once again many thanks for everything. We will be returning to Mountain Kingdoms for another adventure, perhaps South America, so much to choose from.
The confidence that comes from knowing that MK has lots of knowledge and local expertise. At all stages we felt we were getting 'VIP' treatment!
Lodges were superb: staff, food, everything. The trip was well organised, the lodges were superb, all staff were fantastic.
Well organised, no additional costs like we observed with some trekking companies. The fact the whole holiday was over 20 days rather than 18 days, as advertised by other trekking companies I am sure was beneficial in the whole party not suffering altitude sickness or exhaustion.
The trek was a really enjoyable experience. The walks were wonderfully varied and gave insight into village life and rural landscapes normally overlooked by higher altitude treks. The sometimes quirky, sometimes luxurious hotels added to the experience. The overall package involving drives to interesting areas, visits to temples, the hotels and the lovely walks was outstanding.
The scenery was superb, and the pace of the trek was well managed. The friendly response to queries beforehand by MK staff was also excellent.
This was a fantastic holiday! The route was just right- challenging but do-able and magical scenery every day. Pace and acclimatisation were both very well judged by our trek leader, who could not have done more to ensure that we had the best possible experience. Absolutely no complaints - more holidays of this type please.
This was the most fantastic experience and credit goes to Mountain Kingdoms for their care in arranging such a well thought out itinerary and using knowledgeable, well trained local staff. The hotel Dwarika's was fantastic.
As this was my 5th trek with MK, it is the service you provide from beginning to end, from the brochure through to the assistance given with any queries one may have.
I fell in love with the country and its people and I'm planning to go back in a couple of years' time. What made the trek really special was having local guides. I saw other companies who used European guides and I'm so glad we had local ones. Nima and Bir in particular were outstanding in terms of their hospitality and kindness, and I couldn't recommend them highly enough.
