Walking the south coast made my heart sing - the rugged interior, brilliant white villages, ruins of an ancient past and turquoise sea.
The plunging descent down the Imbert stairway, some exciting tunnels and the startling turquoise waters of the Verdon were my personal highlights from walking the gorge.
This is a great gentle cycling holiday that is open to cyclists and non cyclists alike. The pace is very easy and the focus is very much about experiencing the beautiful scenery, the wonderful relaxed pace of life and the delicious cuisine that this region has to offer.
This trip is designed for the keen road cyclist who gets out regularly on their bike and wants to be able to challenge themselves, whilst at the same time cycling through some of the best scenery, and enjoying the food and drink that the French Riviera is known for.
Well organised trek with a decent standard of hotel and reliable baggage transfer each day.
The hotel selection was spot on. Those chosen were all comfortable and many were charming. The whole experience from beginning to end is so well organised with virtually nothing left to chance. MK seems to attract like minded people- all three groups we have travelled with have got on like the proverbial 'house on fire'.
I had an amazing time on this trek and would recommend to anyone interested.
A lovely group of people... Hope to travel with MK again, telling all my pals how good you are. Hotels etc. were all excellent!
The pre-Mont Blanc climbs were more demanding and more useful than on a previous (unsuccessful) trip with another company. Liked the provision of technical kit e.g. crampons.
Enjoyed quality of trip, including the leader, the hotels, the Definitive Route and the really good daily description and small rucksack version of the itinerary. Thank you for a great trek.
