Annapurna and Everest in style

A good introduction to the Annapurna and Everest regions of Nepal. Trek was well organised and well paced, led by helpful and knowledgeable staff in both regions.

A brilliant trek

This was the first trek I have done and it was brilliant. A superb route, great and varied views and scenery, from valleys up to high mountain passes. It was well organised and run with a great leader and team of sherpas.

Trekking in comfort

Spending time in the Sacred Valley, seeing the sites and acclimatising to the altitude was a great way to start our holiday. The Salkantay trek itself was everything we'd hoped it would be, with fabulous scenery, trails that challenged us and provided a feeling of achievement, luxurious lodges with food to match and good weather! Machu Picchu lived up to our expectations and was a perfect end to the trip.

Base Camp in Some Style!

A real life affirming experience. It was a trip I had always dreamed of making. The trip from start to finish was everything I had hoped it would be. The attention to detail in the planning and the top notch guide made sure our group of 10 with an average age of 55 bonded really well and we all made our objective. The itinerary and the knowledge of our guide delivered a wonderful insight into the history of the Khumbu valley and the culture of the Sherpa People. For anyone else like me who has always dreamed of doing this- do it- you will not be disappointed!

Defintive Cutural Tour of Nepal

This trip is perfect for the opportunity to see some of the sensational landscapes and cultural treasures of Nepal without the need for discomfort. Historic towns, picturesque villages, traditional rural life and exotic wildlife were just some of the attractions of this lovely trip and it was all enjoyed from the comfort of some wonderfully comfortable hotels. The warmth and friendliness of the local people was just the cherry on the cake. It was an inspiring journey at the same time as being a very relaxing experience.

Royal range

Spectacular mountains, which are virtually deserted. Be prepared for days with no tracks, but superb views. A must are four season bag, good puffa jacket.... when sun goes down the temperature plummets. Very knowledgeable guide and excellent cook. If you love the mountains and deserted walking it’s a must.

Experience of a lifetime

We have wanted to visit Nepal for many years. Visiting two areas on the one trip was a real bonus. We were so glad we visited Annapurna area first as it helps with acclimatization as well as being so different to Everest area. The standard of lodges was good. The support staff and leaders were keen to ensure we enjoyed our visit to Nepal. We got the feeling of being very welcome. The mountain views and scenery exceeded our expectations as did the trip as a whole. Just a brilliant experience.

Manaslu Trek, November 2019

Excellent

Bhutan - a very special place.

Bhutan is a very special place. Fascinating culture and commitment to Gross National Happiness, in addition to terrific mountain scenery. The trek run by Mountain Kingdoms will give you a great experience.

True wilderness

The Dagana wilderness trek is not for the faint hearted but it was truly amazing. The scenery was breathtaking and varied. We climbed through forests and over remote mountain passes. We saw bears and so many different birds. The team who accompanied us couldn’t have been more lovely. Truly a trip of a lifetime
