A wonderful experience in most beautiful countryside, with great hospitality from all the local people. But should not be taken on unless reasonably fit, many of the paths being quite rough.
Argentine Patagonia was a sublime combination of breathtaking landscapes, varied walking, exceptional accommodation and the most delicious food and wine. The best of all was estancia Cristina indulgent accommodation in a truly wild and unspoilt landscape.
This is a really fascinating holiday due to the sights and the culture of the country, plus the wonderful food and the lovely Cambodian people.
Before Reunion I had no idea that you could get an adrenaline rush just from walking up a hill – it’s safe to say that the island made me fall in love with hiking! It is truly an adventure island, and I will treasure the memories I made there for the rest of my life. There were times when the views were so awe-inspiring that I had goose bumps and my eyes filled with tears – dramatic I know, but such is the nature of the landscapes there. The trekking was at times hard, but you know that you will always be rewarded with a phenomenal feat of nature at the end. Go and discover the intense island – now!
MK have provided the opportunity for us to explore mountainous area of the world which we could not have done without their support.
Trust in MK to get everything right. More than met our expectations, brilliant sights, exploring and information. And service on board was much more than we expected and up to posh cruise standard.
A superb adventure to explore Svalbard via expedition ship, zodiacs, landings and talks. The service, care, and expertise, provided by the guide team and crew was outstanding and ensured we had amazing experiences every day.
Had a great time, had it so hot! Then saw snow, thunder storms but some great views and memories throughout.
Holiday was excellent. Excellent route, weather, views, food and great bunch of fellow travellers. And the guides were outstanding.. We chose this holiday over other similar treks because it promised time spent exploring the military history and the trip exceeded our expectations with an alternative descent down a WW1 tunnel network.
There was nothing at all that we would suggest could be done differently, which is quite surprising for a trip of this length. The only surprise to us, but perhaps it will not be a surprise for much longer, is that others did not come on this trip with us to enjoy such good walking in a near pristine environment without the crowds typically experienced in the Swiss Alps and elsewhere. The message to others is that this is definitely a trip worth considering if you like high level walking, expansive views, alpine flowers, accommodations where you experience delightful local people who go out of their way to please, good food, an excellent itinerary, top notch guiding and the chance to explore an interesting wilderness area in near total solitude.
