Beautiful mountains

It was a delight from start to finish - the friendly and curious people, the lovely terraced hillsides from Darchula to Dumlin, then the drama of the Mahakali Gorge, the villages of Tinkar and Chongru, the valleys of Tinkar, Nampa and Api, and especially the beautiful mountains.

These are mountains that do not shout in your face - you have to seek them out, but it is well worth the effort. A wonderful trek.

Memorable experience

What we have done is just beginning to sink in. It was a memorable experience - and a really good holiday and also quite an achievement for us. Remarkable holiday in Bhutan

A very special 'thank you' must be extended to our guide and driver. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the range of aspects and adapted the itinerary to our personal wishes and abilities. His English was excellent and at times we had to remember he was Bhutanese. He certainly went out of his way to show us places that might easily have been missed or not strictly on the itinerary. Thunder Dragon Trails - Helpful staff
