Gentle Walking Canadian Rockies
Claude worked really hard to give us a good experience of Canada. He organised our accommodation, transport and food really well. He cooked, drove us everywhere, planned our walks. He was always cheerful and pleasant and fun to be with. Claude is very knowledgeable about the area. Because of the weather, he had to organise alternative routes for us to walk and did this without any difficulty. We have travelled with MK before and have always been impressed with the quality of the in-country staff.
Seeing the majestic and unforgetable Canadian Rockies
Having a fantastic guide in Claude Deschamps who cleverly tweaked our walking itinerary when we found ourselves in the middle if the coldest September weather in Alberta for 60 years! We enjoyed the snow which only enhanced the beauty of our surroundings. We also very much enjoyed the "gin club" and the cosy evening meals in the Pine Bungalows at Jasper cooked by Claude. This bonded our group of 11 really well.
It was a great trip
It exceeded our expectations because of the knowledge of the Tour Guide. The hike was a journey during which we learned so much about the Nepalese culture, people, foods, plants, animals, etc. I am glad we did this trip, the Luxury Lodges were amazing and such a bonus compared to what other places people had to stay in.
Manaslu Circuit
Your trips are always very well organised and the staff in Kathmandu are always very attentive and helpful. As with this kind of travel, all concerned while on trek need to show flexibility, and the guides and porters were only too willing to make the trek a wonderful experience.
Overall, this was a most enjoyable trip
All of the accommodation was of high quality. The trip was in three parts. The middle main part of the trip in Chilean and Argentinean Patagonia was flawless with six stunning day hikes and other events. The trip guide leader for the this main part, Kendra was exceptionally competent. The food and service at the Eco Camp was of a very high standard.
The trek itself was truly spectacular and I loved every step
Felt totally looked after from the moment we stepped off the plane til the moment we were dropped off back at the airport. Everyone we came into contact with really cared about our comfort and safety. The quality of the lodges ,staff ,food, comfort was beyond my expectations. To cap it all the first night and last two nights at the Dwarika's hotel were perfect. The whole experience was joyful , beautiful and special.
The most fantastic holiday in Nepal
The organisation, accommodation, food, guide, porters, in fact absolutely everything was spot on and contributed to making the whole experience magical. The awe-inspiring mountain vistas, lush vegetation, perfect weather and the friendliest people ever just made this whole experience absolutely magical.
A lot packed into 2 weeks
This was our 4th trip with MK, I think that speaks for itself. It is great to know you're going to have excellent guides in the country and decent, or even great, hotel, food and transport!
Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage Trek
The immersion in rural Japanese culture, combined with trekking along an ancient route was excellent. Our guide was resourceful & versatile in face of new challenges.
Private Departure - Complete Patagonia - the holiday of a lifetime
We were really excited to join our friends on this holiday but we could not have anticipated just how stunning the scenery was going to be, how challenging but satisfying the walks or how much we would learn about local history, geology, wildlife, flora and fauna. The travel arrangements were all superb and we felt extremely well looked after by Mountain Kingdoms.
